- Is IzPDF free to use?
- Yes. Core PDF tools run in your browser on the free plan. You can process and preview results without a card. Downloading requires a 7-day Pro trial. Pro removes watermarks, raises limits, and unlocks larger uploads plus priority processing.
- Do I need to install software?
- No. IzPDF runs in a modern web browser on Mac, Windows, Linux, and mobile. Upload a file, choose options, and download the result.
- Are my PDF files kept forever?
- No. Files are processed for the task you request and removed automatically after a short retention window. Free results expire sooner than Pro history.
- Why is my scanned PDF not searchable?
- Scans are images without a text layer. Run OCR PDF first so search, copy, convert, and translate can read the content.
- Can I cancel a Pro trial?
- Yes. You can cancel during the trial from Subscription in your dashboard. Access continues until the trial ends unless your merchant of record states otherwise.
- Is an electronic signature legally valid?
- Many everyday agreements accept simple electronic signatures under frameworks such as eIDAS (EU) and ESIGN (US). High-stakes filings may need a qualified certificate—check local rules for your document type.
