What if my PDF has no ruled table lines?
Column detection still works in most cases. When no table is found, the page text is written line by line so nothing is lost.
Does it work on scanned documents?
Scans need a text layer first. Run OCR PDF, then convert the result.
Are merged cells supported?
Merged headers are written into the first matching cell. Review complex headers after conversion.
